Czechout

So I decided to head to the Czech Republic for 1 night to go to a rave of sorts…

Czechout is a wicked launch party for the Mongol Rally where 879 adventurists are tackling 10,000 miles of motoring mayhem: mountains, deserts and some of the most remote terrain across a third of the planet to Mongolia.

My friends Aimee and Dane are in it this year as team Lemur Attack Force so I wanted to go see them and party in Bohemia!

Despite my last minute travel arrangements due to me being disorganised i actually made it there (still in shock) via a bus from Prague to Plzn and then a bus to a small town called Klatovy, then got picked up by Aimee and headed out to Klenová Castle.

These lot however are heading out on a trip far more exciting and crazy than I could ever imagine. This made for fantastic party full of interesting people and stories of adventures and mischief.

We partied in Klenova Military Base / Klenová castle – a 13th century castle with amazing views, ridiculous costumes, strong alcohol, DJs and bands. After it all finished at the castle we headed down to the Military Base where another area had been set up for the after rave.  It would be SUCH a good burner venue – an old structure with open walls looking out over the hills, a giant disco ball in the middle, dance floor, DJ booth, VJ setup and 2 massive fire pits in the ground.

I was happy to be part of this even for one night, i wish all the teams the best luck and to have the time of their lives on this crazy journey.

+ Check out how damn cute Aimee is in her Selk’Bag
